The news from the Kintampo College of Health at Kintampo reveals that two students from the college have reportedly run mad.
The head of the college Dr Kwabena Poku Adusei stated that he had had several interactions with the students advising them to refrain from deviant behaviours such as drug abuse.
Later on, they realised that he was not in school. He had joined some youth in the town who are reportedly wee smokers.
The head of the school explained that of late, the two victims had demonstrated signs of abnormal behaviours. They later identified that they are wee smokers.
Therefore he has asked the parents of their wards to take them to the psychiatric hospital for medical treatment. He added, that this had occurred on several occasions and had taken them to the hospital, but the situation seems not to end.
Dr Kwabena Poku Adusei took the opportunity to admonish the parents of their wards to check on them regularly. He said that some of the students never make it on campus after leaving their various homes whiles some ask for school fees whiles they are given allowances.
