All is not well with Ghanaians as a video of a student from St. Stephens Presbyterian Senior High School being whipped 25 times.
Though the Ghana Education Service laws forbid canning of students, especially exceeding 6 strokes and not instructed by the Headteacher.
In the video, the teacher can be seen mercilessly whipping this student who was just wearing shorts and lying in a push-up position in the open.
The teacher was seen with a large cane, which he lifted high and slammed down in full force on the student’s poor buttocks.
However, this video has caused outrage, as the Ghana Education Service has outlawed corporal punishment in schools.
