Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister and a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Team Joseph Yammin has cautioned the Christian Council of Ghana and other Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to continue to remain quiet when members of the NDC travel on the road President Akufo-Addo and NPP members are traveling on.

According to Joseph Yammin, CSOs who criticized and chastised former President John Dramani administration are quiet and have failed to criticize or chastise President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s wrongdoings.

In an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo, Joseph Yammin said “The future is indeed pregnant and let the silence continue to be silent when the future comes because the day of accountability will surely come”.

“The hypocritical stands of some Civil Society Organizations is worried and will surely affect the nation tomorrow. Those who were talking yesterday when John Dramani Mahama was president are silent and quiet today because Nana Akufo-Addo is the President” Joseph Yammin.

“We are going to use the same road which has been constructed today. The NDC as a political party will travel on the same road which President Akufo-Addo is traveling on to get to its destination. The car NDC party will use to get to its destination shouldn’t be no one problem”.

Joseph Yammin added “President Akufo-Addo is setting a precedence which will surely have bad impact on the nation tomorrow. Civil Society Organizations and Ghanaians are quiet because those precedence are happening under Nana Akufo-Addo”.

“Those who are quiet today shouldn’t dare to get mouth tomorrow when the table turns. They should continue to be quiet else they will use their own teeth to cut your own throat”.
