A leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Ellen Ama Daaku has finally revealed that the Electoral Commission (EC) will register new voters with Ghana Card and there is nothing Mahama or the NDC can do. She revealed that the NDC knows they’ve already lost the 2024 elections and so that’s why they are attacking the EC.
While speaking on Peace FM, Ellen Ama revealed that the EC has done nothing wrong on registering new voters with Ghana Card. John Mahama while speaking about the EC’s willingness to register new voters with the Ghana Card revealed that the EC just wants to disenfranchise the Ghanaian voters. However, Ellen Ama Daaku strongly disagrees with John Mahama and the NDC.
“ 2 and half years to an election and these NDC people have started fighting the Electoral Commission(EC). What has the EC done? The NDC and John Mahama know that they’ve already lost the 2024 elections, that’s why they are doing that. They can’t even organize themselves for their internal elections. Whether they like it or not, the EC will register new voters with the Ghana Card and there is nothing the NDC can do about that.” Ellen Ama Daaku boldly revealed this on Peace FM.
