Kennedy Agyapong has started mounting some unusual pressure on the newly elected executives to quickly resolve any issue that happened during the NPP executive electives and which he believes was not in the best interests of the party. According to him, what happened on Saturday is an eyesore and can cause some members of the party to defer and join the National Democratic Congress. It was about the inability of the TESCON members to vote.
“I called Sammy Awuku and I did not like the response he was giving me. I will beg the newly elected executives to make sure that the issue with the TESCON people is resolved. This is because we have gotten many of our ministers from this TESCON group. Truth be told, what happened there was an eyesore. It must not happen again.”, Kennedy Agyapong explained.
Kennedy Agyapong further explained that a student in the TESCON group approached him and told him that she had to leave campus without writing her exams just to vote so you can imagine her disappointment when she was disenfranchised by the injunction from the court.
