Host of Onua Maakye show on Onua TV, Captain Smart has sent some messages to pastors and churches in the country.
Speaking on Onua Maakye show on Onua TV this morning, Captain Smart stated clearly that there is going to be a massive demonstration that will begin from the churches in the country. He explained and revealed that some churches in the country fail to give support to their church members with the excuse that they have no money in the church’s account.
However, these churches have been able to contribute money for the construction of the National Cathedral. He hit hard on the pastors of these churches and made it clear to them that the youths in their churches will rise against them one day.
He sent a bold message to the Pentecost Church of Ghana and revealed to them that the church has failed to complete the ongoing Pentecost University yet they have donated over 1.7 million cedis to the National Cathedral.
Speaking about the demonstration, Captain Smart revealed that most pastors are corrupt. He added that they are corrupt even more than the politicians in the country. Due to this, the pastors who are involved in these corrupt activities will be shamed on the day of demonstration.
He raised another concern about how the Board of Trustees on the National Cathedral project have been quiet after reports show that government has spent millions of cedis on the project without any ‘better’ work done on the site of construction.

The whole brouhaha about the National Cathedral project started when government gave out some money to be used as a ‘seeding’ for the project. This wasn’t part of the initial agreement because government made it clear that they whole project will be funded by the churches and stakeholders. Another report came out to show that government has spent a lot of money aside the seed money on the project. Several churches have contributed to the construction of the building but there are no signs of development on the site.
