Dr Mahamudu Bawumia the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana was epitomised as the star of the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP Annual Delegates Conference at the Ashanti Region on the 19th of December 2021.
The presents of the Vice President at the Conference ignited and spark a bustling amount of discussion with many reactions from social media platforms which awarded him as the number one of Ghana trend on social media Twitter page on Sunday afternoon.
The Annual Delegates Conference was a group and presented by many gurus of the party including the President, Nana Akufo Addo. Meanwhile, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia stoled the show at the conference ground as well as the focus of the social media platforms discussion notably, Twitter.
If meticulously observed, if there was any doubt about rating Bawumia approval in the NPP, all doubts were, however, cleared later in the days when it was time for the Vice President to address the conference.
It could be noted from the crowd that, the whole Congress went agog as the party delegates chanted Bawumia name in support as soon as the MC announces his name as the next person to speak.
Furthermore, the crowd vacate their sitting positions to eventually fill the front of the podium with a loud noise of songs in support of the Vice President for minutes before they were successfully calmed but with much difficulties before they resume their seats.
The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia when he had the opportunity to address the crowd commenced the speech with much enthusiasm at his vintage best touching many areas.
However, the Vice President through his speech also fires salvos at the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC further jabbing them for deceiving their supporters by presenting an unreasonable and incompetent petition to the Supreme Court of Ghana after the 2020 general election in the country.
Furthermore, the star of the crowd who ignite many enthusiasts in the delegates also detailed the many good interventions of the President, Nana Akufo Addo government has executed to mitigate the hardships and suffering of the Ghanaian citizens.
