Finest Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has registered his dissatisfaction after VGMA issued a statement indicating that the ban placed on him and Shatta Wale has been lifted.

On February 12, 2021, the VGMA board stated in a statement that an inaugural meeting was held and in conclusion, the ban on both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s has been lifted.

In reaction to this, the Bhim nation president in a post on his social media handles said the VGMA should have firstly met with them or even their management before finally announcing in public that the ban on them has been lifted.

His post on Tweeted reads;

Dear VGMA Board & Scheme organisers, I hear the purpose of the VGMA is to celebrate and projects Ghanian musicians and . If that is so, it takes nothing from you to meet with us the artistes/our reps b4 reaching decisions that affect us and communicating them to the public.

“The right to be heard is a principle that applies in every noble society. Even the all seeing God, who had already seen and knew all that Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, still made sure he heard them before he took action against them. #IfTheySoDesire really???”
