Sefa Kayi Lambasts Daily Guide Over ‘Hot Sex’ Krachi East MCE Headline[Video]

Host of Peace FM’s flagship programme, Kokroko, Mr Kwame Sefa Kayi has descended heavily on the Daily Guide newspaper on the way and manner in which it reported the demise of the late MCE for Krachi East.

Mr. Sefa Kayi made a reference to a headline on the front page of the daily guide ‘hot sex’ kills Krachi East MCE and graphic online also reporting on the same tangent, adding it is dirty to do this type of journalism.

” No, as for the daily guide story is dirty and even yesterday where I have seen the story I was shocked even graphic online also reported the same thing. We are all journalists and we all do media work, at times let’s think aloud, he advised.

He made this disclosure on Peaace FM’s Flagship programme Kokroko on Tuesday morning.

The Senior journalist expressed that as journalists why won’t they be concerned with the fact that the family may still be mourning  death of the deceased .

” Meanwhile, we those who claim we are journalists and media practitioners this is the reportage we do. I’m sorry  that I’m using harsh words, I mean it is dirty journalism”, he fired

Mr Sefa Kayi asked daily guide whether they are pathologist, police or forensic experts to have concluded by reporting what actually killed the late MCE for Krachi East.

Professionally, you need to allow the appropriate bodies to investigate in order to unravel the cause of  death of the late MCE ,there you can rely on their findings to report accurately, he added.

He concluded that, somebody is dead and we are not saying any wise things about him, even think about the family self, wife and children. He was an MCE , he leads crowd and if he dies this is the only way we can report his demise.

  1. I agree with him but I also disagree with him because when reporting we must put all sentiments aside and report the fact but what I agree with is the fact that they did not wait for the police or hospital to bring their report before jumping into conclusions.
