REVEALED: New Scam Tricks In The Education Sector That All GES Teachers And All Unemployed Graduates Need To Know -Check Out Before Being Scammed.

SCAM ALERT FOR ALL TEACHERS AND UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES

There are some scrupulous people everywhere on social media waiting to take advantage of your gullibility and vulnerability.

They are very current. They jump on anything new and trending to scam you.

1. Some are advertising protocol recruitment opportunities into the security forces, Police, Army, Immigration etc. I understand how desperate you are for work but source your information from credible places. Avoid those social media protocols.

2. Some claim they can help you get recruitment into GES. They may give you look real appointment letter alright but you will work for years without salary. Even if you are lucky to get salary, the constant payroll audit will expose you one day.

3. Some of them claim they can help people upgrade their license and promotion exams results. Only lazy and gullible teachers will fall for this.

4. Some are now advertising that they can help you with inter-regional release and transfers. I know how badly you need that transfer and how frustrating the GES release process can be but this shortcut you want to take is a scam.

5. The one that is getting most people duped is payslip related issues.

Correction of their names, phone numbers, rank, bank, management units, payment of legacy arrears, reactivate their salaries etc. I had my fare share already so I learn sense.

Please do well to pass through the right channel. Force the officers to work. If they demand money in the office and you pay, it is better than paying money to a scammer online. At least you can go to the office and scream at somebody.

6. The new one is online CPD workshop scam. They will advertise a CPD workshop, attach a Google form, zoom link and Momo number. Be skeptical. You will pay and the meeting will never come off. Some of them will do something to represent something but at the end, you will never get your points or certificate.

Before you register for any online workshop, visit the NTC TPG website and see if the provider is accredited. Do due diligence. Be skeptical and ask questions. It is better and safer to register for online cpd programs through the TPG platform. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
