A group of Black diaspora community have offered their support to the Gay Right movement in Ghana.

LGBTQI issues have become very hot in Ghana following the opening and forced closure of their office in Kwabenya, Accra.

The President of Ghana subsequently declared that in his time as President, the country will never legalize same sex marriage.
The statement of the President, the public anti gay stance and the closure of their office has prompted the diaspora community to offer their support.

The likes of former Chelsea footballer Michael Essien, actor Idris Elba have added their voices to support Gay Right in Ghana.

The latest name to sign the petition is, British Ghanaian Architect, Sir David Adjaye.

Sir David Adjaye is the architect who designed the much hyped National Cathedral of Ghana.
