The Minister for Information, Hon Oppong Nkrumah have said that, Ghana have never had a hard working president other than the current President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency President Nana Akufo Addo.
The Information Minister further add that, president Nana Akufo Addo is more keener in the execution of his policies and agenda for the good of Ghanaian citizens despite winning the re-election and thus not subjected to another vote.
“This is a president whose agenda on this second term is clear cut and he is keen on executing it. I have never seen a harder working president even at this age. Tell me a harder president who was working at this age literally crisscrossing the country on a daily,” he said.
The Minister for Information, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made this statement in an interview on Accra Base TV on the 13th kf January 2022.
He further indicated that the President was in Kumasi at the time he granting interview in order to attend to some businesses for the betterment of the state.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah again reveal that,”this is not the President who is so relax that he has won a second term and therefore, ‘yentiw obiaa’. We saw presidents in their first term who adopted that attitude”, he added.
Furthermore, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah further admonished presidential aspirants in the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP to appropriately execute their roles in government properly because according to him, the 2024 polls is going to depend largely on president Nana Akufo Addo terms.
The Minister for Information on that note, express confidence on his party in breaking the 8 in the country in order to have the New Patriotic Party NPP to remain in power.
He therefore, calls for peace among party patriots in order to pace way for them to solely focus on their main target for the party in the next coming 2024 General Election in the country hence party leaders should also as matter of fact be hard working in executing their duties.
