Ghana received it’s first batch of the COVID-19 vaccine through the (WHO) World Health Organization’s global vaccine- sharing program on the 24th February, 2021
A total of 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine which arrived in Ghana were distributed across all regions for the national vaccination program.
More prominent people in Ghana have been vaccinated since the exercise started including the President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, and some senior Journalists which includes Mr. Kwesi Pratt
Speaking on Peace Fm’s morning show “Kokrokoo” Mr. Pratt boldly revealed that, he was good the first two days after the covid-19 vaccine until the night of the third day where he got sleepless night with severe fever, headache among others until the next morning.
He therefore urged Ghanaians to do away with fears and speculations concerning the covid-19 vaccine and be part of the ongoing National vaccination program for our own benefits.
It has scientifically proven that 25% of people who take the covid -19 vaccine will have mere or severe side effects which is normal. He added
