We’ve chanced on a viral video that captures the moment very dirty water was seen flowing from the tap after the Ghana Water Company finally reopened the water after three weeks of closure for maintenance.
Ghana Water Company, according to a recall, created an imaginary water shortage by claiming to be operating on one of the main supply lines that had been leaking.
People were supposed to see safe water running from their taps again after the main works were completed, which took more than three weeks instead of the normal two weeks.
Well, in a video currently making rounds on social media, a resident was heard lamenting after he opened the tap only to see a bloody substance flowing from the tap.
The video was accompanied by the caption; If this NPP Government continues like this in a few years access to clean water will be a luxury ! Mark it !!#FixMotherGhanaNow
