A young man probably between the ages of 25 and 35 years old has been caught trying to steal someone’s brand new car in a broad daylight. According to the person who recorded this video, this incident took place this afternoon, Thursday, 25th August 2022 at Accra Mall. If you watch the video carefully, you can see that the thief was wearing a white Lacoste and blue jeans.
The car he tried to steal is an unrestricted vehicle parked in front of the mall. One cannot tell the kind of courage this young man had but he was seen driving someone’s car out of the Mall’s car park. A group of men at the mall after getting to know what the young man was trying to do rushed him and the thief drove the into a hedge plant at the mall.
The group after getting the thief out of the car tried to lynch him to death. You can see that some of the guys were beating the thief with any object they get at the mall, however, some of them were also trying to protect him. Some people said that they should send the thief to the police station while others said that they should kill him to serve as a deterrent to others.
The group was able to beat the thief but couldn’t kill him because of the people protecting him.
