Former President Maham has advised the successor to the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo to read the 2020 manifesto of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC to testify for himself the good and better solution the NDC party planned for the good people of Ghana.
The former President made this statement in response to a throwout question by the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP asking them what good plans that they would use to address the economic situation of the country and their level of competency.
The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo while addressing the delegates at the conference asked John Mahama and the NDC party that, what is their one policy that they have thought of for the past five years in opposition further answering the question himself said that there is none at all by them.
President Nana Alufo Addo further declared that his government and administration have invested a huge sum of money into improving the lives and the living conditions of Ghanaian citizens.
He added that the achievement of the New Patriotic Party NPP government in the country is unprecedented and for that matter cannot be outmatched by bunny other governments in the history of Ghana.
On that note, the 2020 flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC in response indicated that President Nana Akufo Addo and his government only loved causing financial loss to the state thereby causing more suffering and hardship for the country.
Former president Mahama cited an example by listing the luxurious travels of the president further urging them to take a moment about the chartered private jets and read the NDC 2020 manifesto.
“To answer his rhetorical question on policy, if only he took a moment, in the comfort of his chartered jet, to read the People’s manifesto, he would have at least learnt about the ‘Big Push’ (an accelerated infrastructure plan for Ghana), ‘Free Primary Health Care Plan’, the ‘1 million jobs plan’, ‘Ghana FIRST’ (Framework for Industrial Revitalisation, Support and Transformation) and several other well-thought-through and costed policies,” he said.
The former President, John Dramani Mahama made this statement on his social media Facebook page on the 20th of December 2021.
