The recent circulating news that has unexpectedly raised massive reactions across all social media platforms was when another renowned lawyer boldly sent another brilliant request to the next administration which most Ghanaians have anticipated to be the John Mahama government considering the current economic crisis and hardship in the country under the Akufo Addo-Bawumia administration.

Whilst addressing some salient issues in the country, the Harvard Law school graduate and #Fixthecountry convener, Oliver Baker Vormawor took the opportunity to lay out some relevant changes that need to be addressed by the next administration since the incumbent government seems to pay death ears to the cry of Ghanaians in the country.

“For our history to be redeemed. The Next administration must rename the 4th of August as Active Citizens Day. #FixTheCountry has forever changed the significance of that date. And we Young people deserve a place in this Nation’s history. Then 21st September should become Founder’s Day. As it should be. Then restore 1st July as Republic Day. (You only become a Republic once). Rename 7th January as Constitution Literacy Day. And use the day to actively teach people about the Constitution. What’s there to celebrate about a constitution you know nothing about? Rename the Airport After Salifu Dagarti. He gave his life to save our democracy. Roll back the Big 6 myth, starting with moving the image to only the 2 cedis currency note. And use the other currencies to highlight the Founder, Nii Kwabena Bonney, Hannah Cudjoe, Agnes Oforiwa Tago-Quarcoopome, K.A. Gbedemah, Akua Shorshoorshor, Dedei Ashikinshan”, the prominent lawyer and #fixtgecountry convener, Oliver Baker Vormawor emphatically revealed.
