Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party , Kwabena Agyei Agyapong has declared that he is lacing his boots to contest the party’s flagbearer position ahead of the 2024 general elections.
The former General Secretary who was once suspended for misconduct revealed that his decision to contest for the flagbearership is a due to his desire to help humanity and not for his own gains.
A lot of people have reacted after Kwabena Agyei Agyapong declared his intention.
Today, Dr Smart Sarpong, a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow has also talked about the declaration of intent which Mr Kwabena Agyapong has made.
According to him, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong shouldn’t contest against Alan Cash because he has once worked under Alan Kojo Kyeremateng. He stated that if Kwabena Agyapong is a loyal person then he shouldn’t contest his boss.
He advised Kwabena Agyapong to rather stop contesting and rally behind Alan Kojo Kyeremateng so that he can be victorious in the race.
