The founder and leader of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho has finally revealed deep secrets about Atta Mills’ Asomdwee Park brouhaha. He revealed that he has not done anything wrong because the body of the late President has not been tempered. He also revealed that it’s not like he’s trying to do politics with the death of Atta Mills but rather, he just wants his former boss to be given a befitting burial.
During an interview with Adom FM, Koku Anyidoho revealed that Atta Mills was buried with wood in 2012, after some time, he appealed to the then President, Mahama to change it but he refused. When Akufo-Addo came to power, he also appealed with him to change the outlook of the Asomdwee Park and now, they’ve removed the woods for granite stones.
“ We all know that late President Mills was buried at the Asomdwee Park and a few years after, we saw a lot of bad stories about how the place was being kept. I didn’t like that and so I appealed to then President John Mahama to renovate the place and he refused. So when Akufo-Addo came to power, I also appealed to him and now, it’s been done. I have not done anything wrong. I am not trying to do politics with the death of my former boss. I just want the right thing to be done. Today, the woods that were there have been removed by Akufo-Addo and replaced with granite stones.” Koku Anyidoho revealed this.
A member of the Atta Mills family, Samuel Atta Mills has also told Koku Anyidoho to desist from getting himself into matters involving the former President. He mentioned that the family doesn’t recognize Atta Mills Institute formed by Koku.
