News coming in indicates that striking teachers in the country have once again walked out of the negotiations table for the third time.
A meeting was held with government representatives on Wednesday, July 13th but the demands of the teachers were not met once again.
They angrily walked out of the meeting again, complaining the government spokespersons failed to table any percentage for the cost of living allowance.
The teachers at various pre-tertiary institutions have declared an indefinite strike pending a better response from the government or their union leaders. The teachers have been on strike for the past week and school children have been left at the schools unattended.
Some parents have even decided to let their children stay at home rather than to send them to school. The teachers are demanding a 20% cost of living allowance from the government. Government has also made it clear to them that times are hard and he will attend to the teachers when things are back on track.
