The Director General of Ghana Education Service, Professor Opoku Amankwa on newly posted teachers 6 months’ delayed salaries.
The Director General of Education clearly stated that “They should go and do galamsey. They have been eating before they got employed.” Professor Opoku Amankwa
The newly posted teachers have been working for 6 months without salary and the Director General of Education service is telling them to opt for galamsey in other to earn a living.
This news has come as a shock to many field teachers and Ghanaians as well.
Indeed, gradually people are losing their passion for the teaching profession.
