News emanating from UTV Journalists with their necks sticked IN WASSCE 2022 issues indicates that, Ghana has been left alone to write the upcoming West African Senior High Schools Certificate Examination.
According to the reports, all the other four West African countries namely, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Gambia have all changed their academic calendars.
The four countries used the old MAY/JUNE calendar and have since finished writing their examinations. The Education experts in those countries tailored the examination structures in line with the COVID 19 outbreak and how schools were closed.
Meanwhile in Ghana, everything remained unchanged with the students using the old routine. Many people have argued that, Ghana wasn’t hit so hard by the corona virus pandemic. WASSCE 2022 starts on 7th August to 27th July 2022.
