Data available to Global Info Analytics from sampling 10,644 voters in 75 constituencies shows that both New Patriotic Party [NPP] and National Democratic Congress [NDC] cannot afford to lose the Greater Accra region by a huge margin.
Most orders are in the Greater Accra region and not the Ashanti region. The data also shows that most of the NDC supporters are in the Greater Accra region and not the Volta region.
Surprisingly, the Ashanti region now has the highest proportion of floating voters, followed by Greater Accra, Upper West, and Western regions. For other parties, Greater Accra leads the pack, followed by Ashanti, Central, and Eastern regions.
For the NPP, this is a worrying development as most of its winning margins come from the Ashanti, Eastern, and lately, Central regions, for them to move to a floating and other voters could be a sign of dwindling support.
The 2024 general election is going to run to the wire, as every possible vote may count in determining the faith of the presidential election respectively.
