JUST IN: Thunderstorm And Rain To Affect These Areas-Ghana Meteorological Agency Warns-CHECK DETAILS.

The rain should have started again after some weeks of halt. Recently, it caused the whole of Accra to flood as usual after a heavy downpour in the morning leaving many residents stranded as well as road users.

The Ghana Meteorological Agency is doing all it can to give to Ghanaians an idea of how the weather is going to be in order to help them plan and regulate their own activities in different time frames. This is possible by making a copy of the weather forecast on daily basis available via their social media handles and even through television stations.

Today 7th July, 2022, the Agency has shared the weather forecast for the day via their official twitter page and it indicates that, It is variably cloudy across the country this morning. Short spells of sunshine will be experienced during the day. Rain is expected over parts of the forest areas in the afternoon. Over Northern Ghana, there is a possibility of thunderstorms later in the day.

The forest areas captured in the forecast as hotspot areas include: Ho, Kumasi, Akim Oda, Sefwi, Tarkwa, Obuasi and others. In the Northern zone where there are chances of thunderstorms and rains includes: Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Wa, Bolgatanga and others.
