A Ghanaian Language (Twi) teacher at the Saint Mary’s Boys Senior High school was reportedly beaten mercilessly till he lost his teeth. The mob action was allegedly orchestrated by some students who got angry over his demeanor.
According to Connect FM in Takoradi, confusion erupted between the Saint Mary’s Boys and another feuding part. That was during a hand ball game on the GSTS campus.
While the Twi tried to make peace between the students, they didn’t recognise the reason why he should intervene. The students turned their anger on the poor teacher. They beat him mercilessly till he lost his teeth.
He was later Conveyed to the hospital for treatment. The action of the students was widely condemned by all and sundry. While some social media users advocated for the arrest of the students, there were those who recommended counselling for them.
Indeed it’s an unfortunate news. Knowing very well that the lost teeth will never grow again.
