Over the past week there have been so much conversation regarding Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng. Ever since her conversation from a priestess who used sika gari to hoodwink people of their monies, Agradaa as she is popularly called has had tongues wagging. She converted to Christianity and this raised questions as to the genuineness of the change.
Well, Evangelist Patricia didn’t stop there. He started a church and despite many coming forward to claim she defrauded them, still many thronged her worship center to be ministered to. According to her she felt God calling her to repent and do the real work of God. Last week news trended that Agradaa had been ordained as an apostle. This week she has followed it up with the opening of her new church auditorium in Weija. Many members and observers stormed the new church venue to witness proceedings.
Interestingly, despite being shunned by many of the Ghanaian clergy one prominent face showed up. Computer Man, one of the supposed men of God threw her support to Evangelist Pat. Computer man is noted for his accurate prophecies among his congregants. Among the delegation were powerful men of God from many countries. Leading the foreign dignitaries was Benny Danson, Presiding Archbishop of the Healing Word International Christian Centre and the President at Rapha Faith International Ministerial Network. He was accompanied by other supposed men of God to open the new auditorium of the Heavenway Champion International Ministry.
Dressed in their priestly attire the bishops stormed the venue and held the hands of Evangelist Patricia to open the church. However not all Ghanaians are sure whether Agradaa is playing Ghanaians or has truly repented. Many feel this is just a camouflage. Some also feel Agradaa is now a new soul. Interesting times lie ahead. For believers, one of the things that demonstrate repentance is the fruits that one bears. Agradaa might not be perfect but is she really a changed person? Or the church is a new cover to continue her old ways. Check out the photos.
