The Volta Aluminum Company Limited is a fully owned Ghanaian company that manufactures aluminum products. It was founded under the leadership of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It was dormant for a while before the previous administration brought it back to life so that it could reclaim its proper place in the nation’s alumina melting process.
In the future, in June 2020, the president named Mr. Kelvin Kwaku Yeboah as the interim executive director of the Valco Trust Fund. It should be noted that the man chosen is only serving as an interim executive director while a permanent executive director is chosen to lead the company.
