The member of parliament for Dome-Kwabenya has finally landed herself in another ‘hot’ trouble after absenting herself again over a recent meeting with the Privileges Committee as parliament is set to take a tough decision about her behavior towards her role in the house, Ghana, and constituents.
Speaking in a recent interview on TV3, the ranking member on the Privileges Committee of parliament, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan revealed that, the Dome-Kwabenya MP, Adwoa Safo’s behavior towards parliamentary duties as an MP and Minister has never happened before in the 4th republic under the Akufo Addo government hence, the Speaker, Alban Bagbin and parliamentarians have no choice than to do the needful aside declaring her a ‘missing MP’.
“I am trying to choose my words carefully here because I’m working with the standing orders but again, this is a strange situation. It has never happened before; not in the 4th republic. So, we could be entering new territories here. The situation is moving from not finding a person to possibly a missing person. Adwoa Safo should probably be declared a ‘missing MP’ parliament having exhausted all avenues of reaching her”, the ranking member on the Privileges Committee of parliament, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan emphatically revealed.
