Irate Youth Shockingly Invade NPP Press Conference – Read Why

A report indicated that some chaos has erupted at a press conference of the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP after some irate youth of Dormaa allegedly stormed the venue and chased out the executives of the party with some weapons as reported by Sunyani Based Ark FM on the 15th of January 2022.

The report added that the irate youth of the Dormaa constituency forcefully made their way into the venue of the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP executives conference meeting with some life-threatening weapons.

However, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party NPP who was addressing the conference had to resort to the refuge after the alleged attack and invasion.

Furthermore, according to reports the unfortunate incident took place at Regent Resort Hotel near Abesim further adding that the chaos erupted exactly when the Bono Regional Chairman of the party was addressing a statement made by the Dormahene, who is the person of Osagyefo Agyemang Badu I.

The weapon-wielding youth protested against the staging of the press conference as they believe it is a show of disrespect to their chief as according to the report.

Additionally, the Bono Regional Chairman of the incumbent New Patriotic Party NPP, Abronye was however noted to have refuted some claims made by the Dormahene Osagyefo Agyemang Badu I.

According to the Dormahene, the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP under the leadership of President Nana Akufo Addo and his administration have not honoured some of the vows that they have made to the people of Dormaa.

However, Abronya outlined some of the good projects of which according to him was executed by President Nana Akufo Addo and his administration.

“There are several projects inherited from the previous government and new ones that are going on all over the country so, for the Omanhene to say that is a bad omen that can bring his stool into a disrepute,” he said.

The report further indicated that the Ghana Police Service arrived at the scene on time to ensure that no blood was shed and love was lost.
