The host of the New Day show on TV3, Johnnie Hughes has served a notice to the government concerning their planned activity to visit IMF for a bailout.
Speaking on Johnnie’s Bite this morning, Johnnie Hughes clearly revealed that government should come and apologize to him. He added that government failed to listen to him over the years. He also added that every Ghanaian deserve an apology from the government for failing them. Johnnie Hughes explained this and revealed that the NPP government promised Ghanaians that they would never visit IMF for any bailout.
Johnnie Hughes showed some videos and tweets by some top government officials about their various positions and stands on IMF bailout. He showed a video of Kennedy Agyapong and the vice president. Both persons condemned IMF because they believe that any government that goes there has failed.
Johnnie Hughes also added that even though most countries are visiting IMF for a bailout but none of them said that IMF was bad in the first place. Johnnie Hughes revealed that he is in the studio of TV3 so government officials should come and apologize to him because they failed to listen to him. He also added that Ghanaians have really suffered in the hands of President Akuffo Addo’s administration.
