Every human being will one way or the other die but there are some things or behaviors we need to abolish in order to live life to the fullest. Though we can not totally stop eating some foods but it should be in moderation to avoid any health complications.
The body is its own doctor and it tries as much as possible to eliminate whatever it does not need. But when the body is overwhelmed and it is not able to do the above, that is when it will be manifested as sickness.
Below are what you should cut off from your diet or better still take it in moderation to help the body:
1. Fats and Oil
You should take a little of this in your diet. The reason is to prevent atherosclerosis that is a build-up of fats in the blood vessels. When the vessels are blocked, there is a tendency of developing heart disease because the lumen of the blood vessels will become narrow. The heart will be compelled to pump with high pressure which will later lead high blood pressure, among others.
Too much intake of fats can also raise your blood lipid profile which is not good for the liver and the kidneys. Remember the kidneys and the liver are responsible for cleaning the system from any filth so when they are compromised, the body will shut down.
2. High intake of alcohol
Too much intake of alcohol is also not good for the body. There is the possibility of developing alcoholic liver disease or liver cirrhosis. The alcohol will hardened the liver and damage it at the end. The liver will become cirrhotic and the end of the day leave you with a whole lot of complications.
Alcohol is also not good for the heart and kidneys as well. It destroys the heart vessels and makes it lose its elasticity. Blood cannot flow the way it’s supposed to flow. All of these lead to heart disease which cannot be resolved.
3. Smoking
Smoking can cause lung disease by damaging your airways and the small air sacs (alveoli) found in your lungs. Smoking causes stroke and coronary heart disease, which are among the leading cause of death. Smoking can also cause cardiovascular disease.
Smoking damages blood vessels and can make them thicken and grow narrower. This makes your heart beat faster and your blood pressure go up. Clots can also form. Smoking can damage the airways of the lungs which cause difficulty in breathing. It kills faster than any other thing.
4. Red meat
Red meats have more saturated fats than fish and vegetables. Saturated fats raises your blood cholesterol levels. Remember high blood cholesterol contributes to heart disease. People who eat too much red meat are at higher risk of heart disease, stroke or diabetes.
