If He Wins Just 10% Of The Vote,I Shall Resign As A Journalist-Captain Smart Throws A Challenge; Details Dropped-CHECK

Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto is the son of Baffuor Osei Akoto. He’s an Agricultural Economist, a Politician, and a product of the University of Ghana and Cambridge. The renowned NPP stalwart represented the Kwadaso Constituency in Parliament and has worked with numerous Agricultural institutions including the International Coffee Organization.

He’s currently Ghana’s Minister for Food and Agriculture and has the presidential ambition to lead the New Patriotic Party into victory come the next election. There is a hurdle that he has to overcome and that is the intra-party elections which are approaching to elect the presidential election aspirant.

Dr. Afriyie Akoto’s contribution to his party is very immense and worth commending in the party’s stronghold and across the country and will probably enable him to win the party’s upcoming primaries.

Any minister who occupies the Agricultural Ministry is seen as the ” mother” of that nation because the Agricultural Ministry is to feed the country’s citizenry and preserve the generation for the future.

However, Captain Smart this morning has stated that indeed the minister has not demonstrated enough competence for the past 6 years, and that’s why he has no confidence and hope in him to lead the NPP party to that victory they are yearning for.

According to the journalist, the Minister has failed woefully with his planting for food and jobs policy. He cited the finance minister’s figures in Parliament yesterday and indicated that it is inconsistent with the agriculture minister’s claim of helping that number of farmers.

“Should he win just 10% of the votes and hope that the Party will allow him to serve by endorsing him as the next flag bearer, I shall resign as a journalist,” he concluded.
