Ever since the 2021 year dawn, the telecom Giant MN has been doing lots of updates with regards to their mobile banking services.
Yesterday, was how to report fraudsters to them and today is focused on the usage of identification cards to do withdrawal or send money to people.
Without these documents such as Passport, National Identity Card, NHIS, Voter ID, Driver’s License, and SSNIT ID you cannot do mobile banking with the MTN agent points.
In the same way, vendors cannot send nor withdraw if customers do not tender the any of the above mentioned documents.
The laudable initiative is expected to take effect on 1st February, 2021, which users of MTN MOMO will be required to present a valid national ID card for transactions at a MOMO agent point.
MyLifeGuideOnline.Com has established that the move is due to the fraudulent activities which have hits hard the mobile banking sector, having many losing millions of their monies to charlatans.
