Tamale Technical University Hospital has temporarily been shut down due to an ongoing fumigation and disinfection exercise.
This is contained in a memorandum issued by Tamale Technical hospital management, dated September 30,2022 and sighted by mylifeguideonline.com.
According to the memorandum, the exercise is expected to commence from 8:00pm on Friday, October 7, 2022, to 8:00 am on Monday, October 10, 2022.

TEMPORAL CLOSURE OF HOSPITAL FOR FUMIGATION AND DISINFECTION EXERCISE
“As part of efforts to ensure delivery of health care in a highly hygienic environment, the University Hospital will be temporarily closed to the University community and the general public from 8:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022, to 8:00 am on Monday, October 10, 2022, for a general fumigation and disinfection exercise.
The closure has become necessary to avoid any adverse effect the fumigation chemicals may have on clients and staff of the hospital.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause our cherished clients.
Thank you very much”, the Memo reads.
