The former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufour has been blamed by Kevin Ekow Taylor for being the person who destroyed Ghana’s economy.
According to Kevin Taylor on Loud Silence TV recently, the New Patriotic Party, NPP always hide behind the negligence of former President Kufour and speak for the party, but Kufour was even the one who destroyed Ghana’s economy.
The controversial journalist alleged that, former President after running the Ghanaian economy down used the Re-denomination of the Ghanaian Cedis to cover up.
He said;
“Kufour came to destroy the economy and afterwards, he brought the Re-denomination of the Ghana Cedis to cover it up. He ran Ghana’s economy down and one day, I will let you see the problem Kufour caused for Atta Mills. He also reached 1dollar to 10Ghana Cedis. When you ask NPP any question they hide behind Kuffour’s negligence, but Kuffour is the person who caused us a lot.”
According to the admission of Kevin Taylor, Senior Minister Osafo Marfo was part of the team that run down Ghana’s economy during the Kufour administration.
He said;
“Ask Kuffour what caused him to redenominate the Ghana Cedis? He came to run the economy down and Osafo Marfo was part of it as the financial minister then”.
