The member of Parliament for Ejisu constituency, Honourable John Kumah, who doubles as the deputy minister of Finance has served a notice to the general public about a trending video on the internet.
The video shows an imposter who has been arrested for taking monies from people with the hope of getting them recruited in the Ghana Armed Forces. The said person revealed that he is a trained soldier. He also added that Honorable John Kumah is his brother.
In Honorable John Kumah’s recent post on Facebook, he made it clear the does not know the said person. He added that the Ghana police service should really investigate the matter because he is not affiliated to such criminal.
He served a notice to the general public to disregard any recruitment process which is done on social media in the name of Ghanaian politicians.
“My attention has been drawn to a viral video of a gentleman arrested for impersonation as a soldier in the Ghana Armed Forces and promising people recruitment into the Military.”
“The claims by the said gentleman that he is my brother is false and he is not related to me in any form or shape. I also do not know the said gentleman, never met him before and have not assigned him to execute any assignment in my name.”
