In case you have forgotten MyLifeGuideOnline.Com is here to remind you that the long anticipated power outage and ‘low current’ in the Greater Accra and Central Regions begins today Monday, morning 10th – 17th May 2021
The ECG has through a new statement released the areas to be affected by the power outages.
The new timetable is expected to cover from 10 May to 17 May 2021 for citizens living around some parts of Accra.
The communities have been grouped in 4 that is A,B,C,D where the light will go off systematically.
It follows the release of the ‘dumsor’ timetable by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) three weeks earlier as part of projects to “improve power supply reliabilities and system voltages.”
More than 30 communities in the Greater Accra and Central Regions will experience a power outage following the coming into effect of the timetable, today, May 10, 2021.
Some arears will be without power from 6 am to 6 pm while others will have light

Group A – Power off on May 10 and May 14 during the day and power off at night on May 12 and May 16
Nsakina, Oduman, Odorkor Official Town, Awoshie, Odorgonno, Mallam Abease, Top Base (Gbawe), Kokompe, Zamrama Line, Banana Inn, Chorkor, Korle Gonno, Gbegbeyse, Shiabu, Kwashi-Bu, Abeka Lapaz, Nii Boye Town, Alhaji, Sowutuom, Ablekuma New Town, Dansoman Control, Market, GBC Staff Quarters, Old barrier, Opeikuma, Ashalaja, Lamptey Mills (Kasoa).
Group B – Power off during the day on May 12 and May 16 and power off during the night on May 10 and May 14.

Group C – Power off during the day on May 11, May 15, May 17, and power off during the night on May 13.
