Report convened from local media bares it that the former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings is confirmed dead today, Thursday 12th November 2020.
Though the cause of his death has not been made known as at the time this report was filed.
His death was confirmed by close family sources who have been thrown into a state of shock and mourning.
Jerry John Rawlings is a former Ghanaian military leader and subsequent politician who ruled the country from 1981 to 2001 and also for a brief period in 1979.
He led a military junta until 1992, and then served two terms as the democratically elected President of Ghana.
He left behind four children with his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, NDP’s flagbearer who is currently campaigning for 2020 general elections.
