Report convened from the Ghanaian local media has it that Ghana’s Electoral Commission has changed its 24 hours time 2020 presidential winner result declaration.

MyLIfeGuide, however, established that the outfit is set to announce the 2020 presidential results in the next five hours.

In more detail, the report detailed that, the Chairperson of the commission Jean Mensa is set to address the nation at 5pm at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This is in fulfillment of her promise to declare the results within 24 hours.

The venue is now a national security zone, with a joint military and patrol team hoarding off the area and ensuring tight security.

The Electoral Commissioner had set up an electronic Information which ensures that for the first time in Ghana’s history the results of the elections will be known at a record time.

In 2016, under the Charlotte Osei administration, the Electoral Commissioner announced the results days later after its system reportedly broke down.

Already, Jean Mensah is taking plaudits for organising a successful general election, using a new register and a newly enhanced biometric technology despite criticisms from some civil society organisation.
