An angry youth is believed to have stormed the palace of Barekese situated in Ashanti region to raise protests against some chiefs for selling some lands.
According to the youth, there have been some members of the council at the chief’s palace have been selling lands wrongly for their own gains.
They believe that, the council members sells some of these land for their own benefit at the expense of their people.
Unfortunately, as the youth stormed the palace with stones, one of the stones reportedly hit the head of the Fotosanfohene, causing him some injuries.
It is believed that, the other elders in the palace had no option than to run away for their lives, whiles the chief in charge of the meeting during when the youth stormed the palace, was guarded into a small room.
Apparently, the intense action of the youth showed they were very angry with the chiefs and the elders.
