Anas Aremeyaw Anas Finally Exposed; Police Property Fraud Unit Says ‘Cornrow Man’ is Anas; Confirm Receiving Reports of Anas TseAdo Land Issues -More Details Drop
A Senior Police Official with the Property Fraud Unit of the Ghana Police Service has confirmed to this portal the man seen in viral land tussle video is indeed Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The Senior Police Official also confirmed that his outfit has received several complaints about alleged intimidation from Anas Aremeyaw Anas regarding lands at TseAdo but most complainants later refuse to or are unable to pursue the matter further.
Following the release of the Galamsey Economy Video by the CEO of Tiger Eye PI, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, new allegations emerged about the alleged land-grabbing activities of the journalist at Tse-Ado, a surbub of Accra for which the public demanded answers.
Anas vehemently denied being the man videoed in cornrow being accosted by guards of CPS, a private registered security company specializing in lands protection.
MyNewGh.com is now reliably informed by top Police sources that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is the person in the video and are aware of its existence but did not act on it because the land was by then a subject of unsettled dispute.
The police source said Anas has been a subject of various reports to the Property Fraud Unit about lands in the Tse-Ado area.
Persons claiming to be agents and assigns of Anas allegedly intimidate land owners and pull down buildings without lawful authority, the police added.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas usually erects a signpost with “Property of Tiger Eye P.I Keepf off” among others while fixing cameras to monitor movement, the source added.
While the police source could not give details as to whether Anas holds legal titles to the lands he claims, MyNewsGh.com is informed that reports of harm, gunshots, forceful takeovers, physical assault and threat of harm has been reported to the Property Fraud Unit all claiming it was the journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas who is behind it.

In most cases, except in the case of Madam Victoria Agyei Odoi, a woman whose four plots of land she alleged Anas is tried to take, most the complainants are unable to pursue their cases fully at the Propert Fraud Unit.
“As a journalist we cannot say he has no right to own land and protect it if it is being taken away, that’s not what I am saying. But the cases reported were one too many but I can’t go into details” the source said.
“Some cases were transfered to other departments because it went beyond land ownership to assault etc but I don’t know what happened later. In most cases, it was also difficult for the complainants to actually show who the Anas is and whether he was the one who ordered the said action or was personally involved. But we know he claimed ownership of some Lands there. But that video in circulation is actually him that’s Anas Aremeyaw Anas. That’s him. Yes.. .” The source added.
