Ace Ghanaian movie actor cum journalist, Akwesi Boadi aka Akrobeto has revealed that when Kumawood was at its peak, he was advised to stay aloof of Agya Koo else working with him will hinder his progress.
According to him in an interview with 1Ghana monitored by browngh since Agya Koo was the toast of fans back then, acting with him projects him more than any other actor regardless of the role you play.
He continued that it was the advise Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films Production gave him that lifted him to the very highest level at where he is today.
“Mr. Nyamekye genuinely advised me not to go on set with Agya Koo because he was already on top and anyone who acts alongside him, will not shine. Again, he made me reject any role which had Agya Koo inside not because he hated him, but he wanted to give me a platform to gain grounds in the country” he said.
