The ultimate objective of all serious Christians is to make Heaven, this is the reason for Jesus’s death on the cross.
Jesus said in the book of Luke 19:10 that “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost”.
Over-comers are the only ones that can make It to heaven on the last day. How can you become an overcomer? You need to overcome all your ungodly thoughts which birth sin.
Every sin a man commits starts from his thought. Here are sins according to the holy scriptures and teachings of Pastor Adeboye that can stop you from making heaven using the book of Mark 7:21-23.
1. Fornication and adultery
When you have an intimate relationship with someone you are not legally married to or having intimacy with another person outside your marriage.
2. Murder
When you take life that you cannot create, it is a sin that can lead one to hell.
3. Thefts and covetousness
When you take something that is not your own without informing the rightful owner or when you lust after something that is not yours in an inappropriate manner.
4. Wickedness
Failure to exhibit the fruit of the holy spirit, goodness can stop you from making heaven.
5. Deceit
Lack of sincerity, when your words are filled with lies and deception, can stop you from eternal life.
6. Lascivious
It can also be related to sexual immorality or having something that has taken the place of God in your heart.
Others include; an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
To save yourself from these sins follow what the Bible says in the book of Pro 23:26 ” My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways”.

Father, give me the grace to overcome sin today and make me a candidate of heaven in the name of Jesus Christ.
